The company behind the scenes
In 1996, Margit Novack started her local Moving Solutions business in the Philadelphia suburbs to assist senior citizens with the many aspects of moving. Over the next nine years, her company grew to 30 employees and gained national prominence for business excellence. In 1999, the American Society on Aging recognized the importance of this unique service to older adults by naming Moving Solutions Small Business of the Year.

In 2002, Moving Solutions became a Founding Member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM). A pioneer in Senior Move Management, Moving Solutions has been instrumental in shaping the future of this emerging industry.

Faced with increasing interest in her concept, Margit began to develop a replicable business model that others could follow. In the spring of 2005, the Moving Solutions Franchise was born. Through development of a national brand, franchisee training and education, a comprehensive quality assurance program and a commitment to helping the community, Moving Solutions intends to become the gold standard in Senior Move Management while expanding its market to include busy professionals and relocating executives.

Moving Solutions franchises are populated by owners and employees who share a common interest in working with older adults and helping people of all ages deal with the emotional and physical aspects of moving. With respect to age, sex, education, interests, race and religion, they are a diverse group of individuals unified by a consistent concern for clients, a strong sense of professionalism and a desire to be involved in work that is meaningful and satisfying. We seek like-minded entrepreneurs to own and operate franchises in local marketplaces throughout the United States.
